This project aims to identify migration corridors between Czech/Saxon otter subpopulations and highlight barriers to migration and potential risk spots. The data collected will be collated to create a knowledge base for all partners which in turn will ultimately strengthen cross-border relationships. It will also develop risk elimination measures and create information for the further education of the general and professional public.

The Eurasian lynx is often found in border areas. The aim of this project is to improve international cooperation for the protection of the Czech-Bavarian-Austrian lynx populations.

This project addresses the influence of invasive mammals such as American mink, Northern raccoon, Raccoon dog and Coypu on water dwelling bird colonies and birds nesting on islands. Three South Moravian localities are monitored: Věstonická Reservoir Nature Reserve, NPR Lednické Ponds National Nature Reserve and Mutěnické Ponds.

The aim of this project is to contribute to the rescue of sousliks across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It will include a multitude of activities including: monitoring species in known areas, identifying new areas for potential colonies, improving the environment for the sousliks, providing education to local landowners,villages and target visitors to souslik regions to promote their protection and conservation.

The aim of this project was a to complete a detailed, large-scale monitoring project of the edible dormouse, across the Czech Republic. This was completed by listening to night-time vocalisations of the dormice. The project also included an analysis of the habitat requirements of the species. Alongside this, an assessment of the current state and perspective of the population of this species in the Czech Republic took place.
